Sarkodie Brings “Rapperholic Homecoming” to Kumasi for the First Time
Kumasi is set to witness history as Ghana’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie, takes his flagship annual concert, Rapperholic, outside Accra for the very first time. The 2025 edition, dubbed “The Homecoming,” is slated for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the newly refurbished Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
For over a decade, Rapperholic has stood as one of the biggest music festivals in Ghana, drawing thousands of fans and showcasing the very best of African hip-hop, Afrobeats, and beyond. Taking the event to Kumasi marks a symbolic moment in Sarkodie’s career, paying homage to his Ashanti roots while bringing the electrifying Rapperholic experience closer to fans in the Garden City.
