Alewah Festival of Arts 2025: Celebrating Creativity, Culture, and Performance
Since its inception in 2017, the Alewah Festival of Arts has grown into one of Ghana’s most anticipated annual cultural events, and this year marks its 8th edition. Organized by ArtNobles Expressions, Alewah continues to celebrate the richness of Ghanaian creativity through art, theatre, music, and laughter.
Alewah 2025 promises a two-day cultural experience like no other, taking place on November 29th and 30th at the ETS Drama Studio, School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana. The festival lineup includes a vibrant Art Exhibition, Exhibition & Fair, thrilling Stand-Up Comedy, and a captivating Stage Play titled “In Her Waist” — an original production written and directed by Nanakofi Nelson.
The stage play will feature an exceptional cast including Rosely Ngissah, Clemento Suarez, Ken Fiati, Kojo Pjay, Priscilla Danso, and Kofi Nelson, promising an unforgettable performance that blends humor, emotion, and social commentary.
