Dwoker’s Card Hosts 2nd Edition of Comedy Writing Camp – 2025
The art of laughter takes center stage once again as Dwoker’s Card Initiative rolls out the much-anticipated 2nd edition of the Comedy Writing Camp – 2025. Scheduled for 22nd September 2025 at 9 a.m., the event comes off at 2927, Tesano – Accra, promising an engaging blend of wit, wisdom, and creativity.
This year’s panel discussion will explore the theme “Comedy, An Art of Storytelling.” Steering the conversation is Ghana’s own Ebenezer Dwomoh, with a powerhouse lineup of panelists including South African comedy heavyweights Chris Mapane and KG Mokgadi, alongside Ghana’s comedy star, Lekzy Decomic.
Adding depth to the dialogue, supporting panelists will deliver focused sessions on comedy’s many faces. Clemento Suarez will dive into “Comic Acting 101,” while Julia Nana-Fosua Dampare, a digital marketing specialist, tackles “The Cost of Embarrassment (Joke’s on Us).” Abdel-Razak Yakubu, Executive Secretary of Goldfields Ghana Foundation, unpacks “The Science of Public Speaking or Art of Fooling,” and Kojo PJay, writer of the Half Serious Show, shares insights on “Writing with Wits.”
