“I Need a New Table Tomorrow “ :Empress Gifty fires

At the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, gospel artist Piesie Esther was heavily favored to win the coveted “Artiste of the Year” award. This was largely due to the efforts of the gospel music fraternity’s “Table of Men” group, who campaigned tirelessly for her victory.

Despite their best efforts, Piesie Esther ultimately lost out to Black Sherif, causing some to question the effectiveness of the Table of Men’s influence.

In response, gospel musician Empress Gifty took to Facebook to make a sly dig at the Table of Men, suggesting that she needed a new table the morning after the awards event. Many have interpreted this as a subtle mockery of the group’s failed efforts to secure Piesie Esther’s victory.
