Kotoko players lose GHC100,000 winning bonus after super clash defeat

Promised by board chairman Dr Kwame Kyei,Asante Kotoko players were to receive GHC 100,000 winning bonus if they were able to beat Accra Hearts of Oak in the GPL super Clash .

Accra Hearts of Oak cement first place on the GPL league log after beating rivals Asante Kotoko by a lone goal in their super clash encounter.

The Accra Sports Stadium was the venue of attraction on Sunday night June 27, 2021. After a crucial first-half goalless draw, Hearts drew blood in the 66th minute when in-form Daniel Afriyie smashed a deflected shot into the roof of the net of Kotoko.
