Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale and three other accomplices have been remanded into police custody.
The four were remanded by the Accra Circuit court on their first appearance on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Reports indicate that Shatta Wale pleaded not guilty to the charges of a false news publication and causing fear and panic.
Crew(accomplices) Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator were also hit with abetment of crime following Shatta Wale on a week remand in police custody.
The four are expected to reappear in court on October 26, 2021.
