Shatta Wale Shoots ‘AIP’ Video, Showcasing Accra’s Rising Music Stars

Shatta Wale has once again proven his commitment to supporting upcoming talents with his latest project, Accra Invasion. The dancehall star, known for his bold moves in the industry, recently announced this exciting venture on his social media pages, sparking major anticipation among his fans.

As part of the project, Shatta Wale and his team ventured into various neighborhoods across Accra to shoot the music video for the song, which had already been recorded. The project features nine rising artists, each representing their respective hoods. Among them are Blakid from Osu, Boy Bray from Labadi, Dosted Gennah from Newtown and Nima, Sanaa from Ajiringanor, Kinjunia from Adenta, Zico Ranking from Gbawe-Mallam, Joe Quaye from Dansoman, Papilon Blood from Ga-Mashie, and Shattonzy from Kasoa.

The video shoot spanned two days, covering four locations on the first day and five on the second. Shatta Wale’s dedication to bringing this project to life is yet another testament to his passion for uplifting new talent and pushing Ghanaian music forward.

This comes on the heels of his successful SAFA (Shatta And Fans Album), which has been well-received by fans. Accra Invasion follows in the footsteps of his 2020 Kumerica Invasion Project, where he collaborated with several upcoming artists from the Ashanti Region.
