Uefa denies Ajax from using Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” Kits

Holland side Ajax had to remake their popular 2021-2022 European third kit to suit UEFA Equipment Regulations according to the club’s news website Ajax Life.

The Bob Marley-inspired Adidas 21-22 third kit features “Three Little Birds” on the back under the collar as a tribute to the famous reggae singer.

UEFA RULES
UEFA defines its official Equipment Regulations (Chapter III – Team identification – Article 13 Types) which types of team identifications are allowed. Ajax’s “Three Little Birds” are not seen as a Team Identification by UEFA.

Ajax played with the third kit over the weekend without the birds, but the club is very optimistic about using it in the future.
