EEZZY GROUP FOUNDATION OFFERS GHC800,000 DONATION TO SUPPORT TEAM GHANA AHEAD OF COMMONWEALTH GAMES IN GLASGOW
In a significant boost to Team Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the EEZZY Group Foundation has donated GHC800,000, demonstrating its dedication to promoting sports development.
At a ceremony, Mr. Mawuko Afadzanu, First Vice President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, praised Mr. Samson Deen for transforming talented individuals into champions despite limited resources. Mr. Afadzanu encouraged corporate bodies to follow the EEZZY Group’s example, emphasizing the value of collaborative efforts in identifying and nurturing talent.
Mr. Samson Deen, president of African paralympic committee, conveyed his confidence in Team Ghana’s success, advising athletes to prioritize discipline and focus on achieving podium finishes.
He underscored the importance of corporate support, noting that internal restructuring was essential for attracting external partnerships.
Mohammed Raii, Executive Chairman of EEZZY Group, thanked Mr. Samson Deen for the opportunity to support the athletes, urging them to excel and make Ghana proud. He expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana for his agenda to revamp the sports sector.
