Renowned Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif embarked on a momentous journey to his hometown, Konongo, situated in the Ashanti Region, in order to commemorate his prestigious accolade as the ‘Artiste of the Year’ on May 13, 2023.

This homecoming spectacle witnessed an overwhelming reception from the entire township, as its residents flooded the streets to welcome their superstar—the individual who has been making remarkable strides in the realm of music, not only in Ghana but across the globe.

A video circulating on various social media platforms showcased the profound adoration Black Sherif’s people hold for him. Individuals of all ages were captured exuberantly cheering him on, harmoniously joining in and singing along to his chart-topping melodies.
