This homecoming spectacle witnessed an overwhelming reception from the entire township, as its residents flooded the streets to welcome their superstar—the individual who has been making remarkable strides in the realm of music, not only in Ghana but across the globe.
A video circulating on various social media platforms showcased the profound adoration Black Sherif’s people hold for him. Individuals of all ages were captured exuberantly cheering him on, harmoniously joining in and singing along to his chart-topping melodies.
Before attaining this momentous victory, Black Sherif had made a heartfelt promise to commemorate the achievement alongside his close friends, beloved family members, and loyal fans if he emerged triumphant as the ultimate ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the 24th edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
The rapper’s album from 2022, titled ‘The Villain I Never Was,’ showcased a remarkable tribute to his roots through a track aptly named ‘Konongo Zongo.’
