I Would Feel Established To Have A Song With Sarkodie-Elizha
In a latest interview, Ghanaian singer Elizha whose career had enjoyed massive upliftment in the USA and translated into reception in the Ghanaian music market revealed in an interview whom amongst the leading S of Ghanaian musicians she would want an immediate feature from and what it would mean to her craft.
Born Michelle Okyere, the US-based Ghanaian afro-fusion, and afrobeat singer Elizha, recounted the difficulty for Ghanaian musicians based outside to reconnect with their home market. She acknowledges this becomes even worse when you are a lady as the sometimes different culture seeks to whip you to act to a conventional norm you are not privy to.
Elizha arrived in the country and has since received a great reception from both media and music lovers. She however believes although she feels great about her achievements, it would take a feature from decorated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie to get her to appreciate her journey thus far.
“I reconnected to the Ghanaian music market in 2009 when musicians Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Efya, etc were gaining ground. It was my time of redefining the music I listen to and I feel if I get a feature with Sarkodie, I would gave attained self-actualization”.Her new single bad love is out now
