Adjetey Anang Clarifies: No Sexual Relations in Affairs – Emotional and Mental Cheating Counted

Actor Adjetey Anang is addressing the misconceptions surrounding his recent admission of infidelity in his book. During an interview on GTV, he clarified that he did not engage in any sexual relations with the women he had affairs with, contrary to popular assumptions.

Anang explained that his definition of cheating encompassed a broader spectrum beyond physical intimacy. Citing biblical teachings, he emphasized that even entertaining lustful thoughts or engaging in emotional and mental connections with someone other than his partner constituted a form of cheating.

The actor highlighted that restricting the concept of cheating solely to sexual affairs deviates from the moral principles outlined in the Bible. He stressed the importance of upholding fidelity not only in actions but also in thoughts and emotions.

Anang stated, “That thought should run through me with only my partner. I am not going to say that I slept with anybody in my thought processing.” His intention was to provide a comprehensive understanding of the various dimensions of cheating.

These clarifications follow the release of his new book, ‘Adjetey Anang: A Story of Faith, Imperfection, and Resilience,’ in which he candidly disclosed instances of emotional and physical infidelity during his marriage to Elorm.
